Healthcare United seeks a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician for a full-time, permanent role in the Greater Chesterton area of Indiana. The practice offers onsite diagnostics and virtual visits, with flexible scheduling and APP collaboration to support a continuity-focused primary care model.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO, are BE/BC in Internal Medicine, have completed U.S. residency/fellowship, and hold an active Indiana medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Completed U.S. residency/fellowship training
• Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• BLS certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 20–25 outpatients per 8-hour clinic day
• Provide preventive care and chronic-condition management including virtual visits
• Collaborate with APPs, onsite lab and imaging services, and multispecialty referrals
• Deliver care through a continuity-focused primary care model with flexible scheduling and some virtual care

Education

MD or DO

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Completed U.S. residency/fellowship

Indiana medical license

American Heart Association BLS certification
