NOW Healthcare Recruitment is helping a growing Family Medicine practice in Michigan City, IN look for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join a physician-focused system near Lake Michigan and Chicago.

The role offers a flexible full-time schedule, outpatient volume of 20–25 patients per day, potential collaboration with APPs, and opportunities for virtual care. On-site labs/x-ray and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• MD or DO degree required.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification preferred and Indiana license/eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Flexible full-time schedule with four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days.
• Call schedule: Family Medicine 1:15, Internal Medicine 1:7.
• Average outpatient volume of 20-25 patients per 8-hour day.
• Potential to collaborate with and/or supervise Advanced Practice Providers.
• Approximately 25% of patient contact hours may be conducted virtually.
• On-site lab and X-ray services; access to extensive specialist network.
