Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an Internal Medicine physician to care for adults in a leading health system with 40+ locations around Houston.

You will examine adults 18+, order tests, arrange follow-ups and referrals, work with a nursing and admin team, and practice from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties as defined by the group. EPIC is used across the network for coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Residency training completed or in progress.
• Licensed or eligible for Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

• Examine adult patients 18 years and older to provide prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of medical conditions.
• Order medically necessary tests, perform follow-up visits, and place referrals to specialists as needed.
• Care for patients with coordination across the system and documentation in EPIC; participate in on‑site clinics and call groups.
