Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, part of Optum, seeks an Internal Medicine physician to deliver high-quality outpatient care for adults 18+. The team collaborates across 65 specialties using the EPIC system to coordinate tests, referrals, and follow-up care.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm, with nursing and administrative support. Applicants may be Board Certified or Board Eligible and must be licensed in Texas; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
• Accredited residency training.
• Licensed or eligible for license in Texas.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to adult patients (18+) in outpatient/integrated care setting.
• Order and interpret tests, follow-up visits, and referrals to specialists as needed.
• Care coordination within EPIC electronic health record system for patient management.
• See patients 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday; participate in call groups as assigned.
