Job summary

NP Now, LLC is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a Providence, RI area practice. The role offers a competitive salary of $220,000–$250,000 per year, 2 months of PTO, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, retirement with up to 3% match).

License and DEA fees are covered at 100%, with student loan repayment programs available. The position features outpatient work, a shared call schedule, and opportunities to teach NP students.

Qualifications

• Board certification (or board-eligible with a timeline for completion) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active Rhode Island Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Mon–Friday outpatient primary care in Providence, RI – 40 hours per week (32 clinical, 8 administrative)
• Use of NEXGEN EMR and participation in a 6- to 7-week shared call schedule (one week each provider, Monday 8 a.m. to Monday 8 a.m.)
• Phone triage only with up to 20 patients per day; no double-booking
• Team environment with two physicians, seven NPs, one midwife and two psychiatric NPs; shared nursing staff (1 nurse per 1.75 providers)
• Opportunity to teach/precept NP students
