Job summary

Southeast Medical Group (SEMG) is hiring Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians for Georgia locations, including McDonough. SEMG operates 54 primary care practices across GA, AL, TN, and SC and emphasizes value-based care with minimized admin burdens.

Physicians will develop long-term patient relationships, deliver personalized care plans, and participate in a network with state-of-the-art EMR and e-prescribing tools in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Current Georgia medical license and active DEA.
• Residency completed in family practice or internal medicine.
• Experience with managed care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat a wide range of medical conditions in a primary care setting.
• Develop long-term, personal relationships with patients.
• Create individualized health programs using patient historical data.
• Provide ongoing health management advice and care coordination.

PCPs are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with their patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice.

• No Obstetrics
• Clinic Hours are Monday Friday 7:30-5 with administrative time
• After hours call service
• patients per day (pending complexity)
• Laboratory services on-site
• State-of-the-art technology with integrated EMR and electronic prescribing
• No admitting; No nights

Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
• Board certification by ABMS (ABFM/ABIM) in Family Practice or Internal Medicine required.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted Georgia Medical License required.
• Valid DEA required.
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
• Possess a working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
