Job summary

Medrina, LLC in Bluffton, SC is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join a physician-owned practice in a 1099 contractor role.

The position focuses on comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients with a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, in an Acute Rehab Facility setting with malpractice tail coverage and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted South Carolina medical license.
• Board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active DEA license.
• Experience managing adult and geriatric patients.
• Strong clinical decision making and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to ARF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Responsible for full medical management and primary care.

Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add physicians to the team in our Bluffton, SC market!

'Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to ARF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Responsible for full medical management and primary care
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted South Carolina license
• Board eligible/certifiedin Internal Medicine
• Active DEA license
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills

Preferred Experience

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience
• Inpatient hospitalist
• Geriatric Medicine

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.'
• Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds.'
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.'
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.'
• Mustcomply withfacility vaccination requirements.
