Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced APRN/Registered Nurse with a Master’s in Nursing to join the Internal Medicine team in McHenry. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, with a schedule Monday–Friday and one Saturday per month, and involves direct patient care, diagnostics, and management plans under physician supervision.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document in the EMR, and participate in quality initiatives while maintaining age-appropriate care

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN license in state of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire; Illinois CS license prior to hire; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and determines treatment plans appropriate for age and clinical condition.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic studies and prescribes interventions.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and seeks consultations as needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EMR and ensures compliant coding and billing.
