Qualifications

• PA license in the state where the clinician practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages acute, chronic, and complex patient illnesses in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Obtains histories, conducts exams, prescribes therapies and plans.
• Interprets data, orders tests, and performs procedures as needed.
• Counsels patients on health maintenance, preventive care, and follow-up.
• Provides care coordination including referrals and medical devices as needed.
• Prepares care plans and maintains accurate records; supervises nursing staff.
