Job summary

MAXHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with internal medicine/primary care experience for a full-time position in Venice, Florida. The provider will work under the direction of an Attending Physician to evaluate, diagnose, initiate therapy, and monitor patients in a team-based primary care setting.

Requirements include BLS and ACLS, active Florida licensure, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS are required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Active Florida medical license is required.
• Experience with EMR/EHR is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in internal medicine/primary care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, initiate therapy and monitor patients.
• Provide evaluation and management under Attending Physician supervision.
