Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks Licensed Vocational Nurses at LVN I–III levels to join our Houston team. Selected candidates will work under supervision across clinical areas, delivering patient-centered care and advancing with experience.

Qualifications include a Texas LVN license, BLS from AHA, and 6+ months in a clinical setting or completion of the KSC LVN Residency. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork is highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas LVN license.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program.
• Ability to use equipment and related supplies for the assigned clinical area; computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under supervision.
• Apply clinical nursing knowledge to ensure safety and comfort of patients and families.
• Identify priorities and organize care for multiple patients.
• Support higher levels with increasing responsibilities as needed.
