Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas LVN license.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months of experience in a clinical area or successful completion of an LVN residency program.
• Computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under supervision.
• Assist physician with examinations and procedures.
• Monitor and document patient status and vital signs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare and submit patient documents and referrals.
• Manage in-basket tasks, orders, and specimen collection.
• Support department maintenance, supply management, and QA logs.
