City of Tulsa seeks a qualified gardener to perform skilled gardening tasks at Woodward Park - Carriage House (AS). The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in gardening, including greenhouse or nursery maintenance and ornamental landscape care.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with on-site duties at the park location. The successful candidate will also meet license requirements and be prepared to obtain the Pesticide Applicator

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of skilled gardening experience, including greenhouse, nursery, or ornamental landscape maintenance.

Must meet the following criteria : (a) Graduation from high school or possession of a General Educational Development Certificate (GED) ; and , (b) One (1) year of experience in skilled gardening work, including experience in greenhouse, nursery, or ornamental landscape maintenance

Licenses and Certificates:

a) Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class “D” Driver license b) Obtain a valid Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator license in the Ornamental and Turf category within one (1) year of hire
