Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a gardener to maintain our outdoor spaces and horticultural projects. The role requires Spanish-language communication and willingness to learn English, plus completing SGI Skill Training Levels I & II.

You will perform lawn maintenance, fertilization, weed control, and pruning to keep plants healthy and vibrant. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and able to solve problems while supervising repairs and coordinating with the maintenance team.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:

The Gardener must have the ability to communicate well in Spanish and be willing to learn to communicate in English. Gardeners must successfully pass the SGI Technical/Horticultural Skill Training Tests Level I & II. The Gardener must also be able to begin learning aesthetic and safety pruning of trees and plants. You will perform a range of general lawn maintenance duties including applying fertilizers, maintaining the landscape design, removing weeds and dead plants, and supervising repairs. As the landscaper, you will ensure the growth and vibrancy of our plants, flowers, lawn, and garden structures. The ideal candidate will be creative and have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Hearing: Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Speaking: Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job, such as clearly communicating with multiple personnel.
• Vision: Normal visual acuity.
• Other: Must be able to prioritize; have cognitive reasoning and problem-solving ability.
