Job summary

Advocate Health is actively recruiting for an Internal Float RN at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. This role supports Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units, providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care across multiple specialty areas within a single facility.

The position requires an accredited nursing program completion, a valid RN license in the state, and BLS certification. Experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry (2 years preferred) is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Minimum 18 months Med Surg or Telemetry RN experience; 2 years strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED Boarding units, may float to ICU.
• Provide safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centered care in fast-paced environments.
• Adapt to each unit's workflow and support teams with professionalism and clinical excellence.
• Demonstrate strong communication, decision‑making, and leadership skills.
• Support efforts to ensure a safe patient environment and best patient experience.
