Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP in Washington, DC seeks an Internal Events Assistant to plan, coordinate, and execute a broad portfolio of internal events that engage employees and strengthen culture.
You will support heritage months, DEI programming, staff celebrations, town halls, and retreats, collaborating with Talent/HR, Marketing, and leadership to reflect the firm’s values.

Internal Events Assistant assists with planning, coordinating, and executing a comprehensive portfolio of internal events that strengthen employee engagement, foster an inclusive culture, and build community across the organization. This role assists with events supporting heritage months and DEI initiatives, staff morale, celebration and recognition programs, community engagement efforts, and firmwide communications events such as town halls and retreats.
The role is based in our Washington, DC office. This position is primarily office‑based, with regular on‑site presence required for events. Occasional evening or weekend work is expected to support scheduled programs and firm events. The base annual pay range for this role is between $60,000 to $65,000, hourly equivalent is $30.77 – $33.34. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.
