Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking an Internal Control Assessment Associate to join our growing firm in CampSprings, MD. The role involves testing design and effectiveness for financial processes, conducting process walkthroughs, documenting as-is processes, and developing reporting materials.

Requirements include at least one year in financial management, internal control, testing or auditing, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience of financial management, internal control, testing, auditing experience or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Must have an understanding of financial reporting and solid analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in CampSprings, MD 5 days a week
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Suitability clearance (Requires US Citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Conduct test of design and test of effectiveness activities for financial business process.
• Conducting process walkthroughs, documenting as-is business processes, performing transaction level testing, and documenting results.
• Development of reporting and presentation materials.
