Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks an investigator to conduct internal investigations of misconduct or policy violations and prepare detailed reports for senior management. The role includes monitoring risk areas, recommending corrective actions up to termination, and advising on conflicts of interest and policy interpretation.

The position is hybrid with three days in office and two days remote. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ investigative experience or 7

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree plus 3 years' research/investigation experience or 7 years' experience
• Experience in internal investigations and interviewing individuals
• Understanding of HR policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to document information accurately
• Organizational, decision-making and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and databases

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal investigations of misconduct or policy violations.
• Prepare detailed summary reports and recommend corrective actions up to termination.
• Monitor risk areas and track corrective action plans.
• Provide guidance on conflicts of interest and policy interpretation.
• Support hybrid work arrangements and collaboration with HR/compliance teams.
