Job summary

Protective is seeking an Associate I, Corporate Communications to support employee communications through content development, editorial coordination and channel execution. You will translate complex information into clear, engaging content and collaborate with teams to maintain calendars and publish across intranet, newsletters and emails.

The role emphasizes strong writing, organization and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field required.
• 1-3 years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related experience preferred.
• Strong writing skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with teammates, business partners and senior leaders.
• Experience with intranet publishing, newsletters, content management systems or employee communications preferred.
• Financial services or insurance industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and publish content for intranet, enterprise newsletters, digital signage, employee emails and other internal channels.
• Maintain the enterprise editorial calendar and coordinate content inputs, reviews, approvals and publication.
• Support enterprise announcements, employee campaigns, leadership communications and All Company Town Hall content.
• Partner with teams across the company to gather information and develop clear, audience-focused communications.
• Draft supporting materials such as key messages, FAQs, leader notes, Indigo articles and presentations.
• Track channel and content performance and support recurring communications reporting.
• Provide content and project support for executive, change, reputation, crisis and external communications as assigned.
• Contribute to team planning, cross-training and business continuity.
