Job summary

Ascensus is seeking an Associate Communications Specialist to enhance the associate experience and cultivate Ascensus culture. Working with the head of associate communications, you will inform, engage, and inspire colleagues as we support retirement, education, and healthcare goals.

You will deliver writing and editing support, manage editorial processes, and coordinate town halls and digital channel content, ensuring brand consistency and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of internal communications experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or related field is required.
• Financial services industry experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide writing and editing support for leader and associate communications.
• Manage editorial process and ensure effective message planning and dissemination.
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with internal teams.
• Support production of town hall meetings, including logistics, content creation, and post-meeting cascades.
• Produce written materials with attention to formatting, branding, proofreading, and visual appeal.
• Create content for digital channels and manage editorial schedule for the intranet redesign.
• Protect and handle confidential data to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
• Model Ascensus’ core values in daily actions.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.
