Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY is seeking a proactive Internal Communications Manager to join our Corporate Group on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on shaping internal communications, engaging employees, and telling Moog's story across channels while partnering across business areas in a matrixed environment.

You will help employees understand and connect to our strategy, culture, and priorities from East Aurora to Buffalo.

Qualifications

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, English, human resources, or a related field.
  • Over eight (8) years of internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, journalism, or related experience, ideally within a large or global organization.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience translating complex information into clear, engaging, and relevant content.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communication strategies, campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Proven success supporting executive and leadership communications.
  • Background in supporting organizational change initiatives through effective communication planning and execution.
  • Skilled in promoting employee programs, benefits, resources, and culture-building initiatives through targeted communication campaigns.
  • Comfort working independently and exercising sound judgment in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency with employee communication and engagement platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Communication Strategies: Create and execute internal communication plans that support company priorities, business initiatives, employee engagement, and change initiatives.
  • Content Development: Develop written, video, digital, and leadership communications that inform, educate, and inspire employees.
  • Company Storytelling: Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to identify and share stories that reflect Moog's culture, values, people, innovation, and successes.
  • Employee Engagement & Awareness: Develop campaigns that increase employee awareness and understanding of company programs, resources, benefits, and opportunities.
  • Change Communications: Support organizational and business change initiatives by developing clear, timely, and effective communication plans that help employees navigate transitions.
  • Campaign Management: Lead communication campaigns that drive awareness, understanding, and commitment to key company initiatives and priorities.
  • Recruitment Marketing & Employer Brand Support: Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop content and campaigns that promote Moog's culture, employee experience, career opportunities, and employer value proposition to prospective candidates.
  • Communication Best Practices: Establish and continuously improve internal communication tools, processes, channels, and standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, business leaders, and corporate functions to ensure aligned, effective, and engaging communications across the organization.

Moog is a large, global, and highly complex organization, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating a matrixed environment, partnering across diverse business areas, and helping employees understand and connect to our strategy, culture, and priorities. You will play a key part in shaping internal communications, supporting employee engagement, enhancing our employer brand, supporting recruitment marketing efforts, and telling Moog's story across a variety of channels. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are a must! In this role, you will support Moog's internal communications efforts by helping tell our company story, connecting employees to business priorities, and developing communication programs that strengthen engagement, raise awareness of employee resources and benefits, and support organizational change across a large, global organization. You will also support recruitment marketing initiatives that showcase Moog as an employer of choice and help attract top talent. You will work a hybrid schedule at our East Aurora facility; therefore, you must live local to the Buffalo NY area.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $140,000.00–$160,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
