Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking an Associate Manager, Communications for the News Group to support employee-facing communications and engagement efforts across domestic and international teams. The role involves translating complex priorities into clear messaging for leaders and staff, with a focus on internal channels and audiences.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in internal or employee communications, strong writing, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while partnering with HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4+ years of communications experience in internal/employee communications, media relations, journalism, agency communications or related fields.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills (writing samples required).
• Experience managing employee communications channels (intranet, newsletters, engagement tools).
• Experience developing communications content for multiple audiences and channels.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and platforms (SharePoint, Teams, Slack, email tools).
• Role requires working from the office minimum four days per week.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support employee-facing communications initiatives across the News Group.
• Contribute to executive and team communications, employee experience programs, and strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with HR, Inclusion and business leaders on engagement efforts.
• Assist with external communications initiatives with NBC News Communications as needed.
• Support leadership communications, town halls, newsletters, intranet content and calendars.
• Coordinate with NBC News Communications on major events and organizational announcements.
