Job summary

Plaid is seeking an Internal Communications Lead to build systems, channels, and programs that keep Plaid employees informed, aligned, and energized about our mission. This builder role will define infrastructure, cadence, and editorial strategy across All Hands, Half-yearly Reviews, and leadership updates.

You will partner with executives and across People, Workplace, Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure clear, consistent messaging at scale while shaping Plaid’s AI narrative and change

Qualifications

• 7+ years in internal communications at a fast-paced tech company.
• Proven track record building or scaling internal communication programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with executive collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Shape communications strategy and content for internal audiences across executive and company-wide channels.
• Own high-impact executive content for major moments and narrative alignment.
• Lead cross-functional partnerships across People, Workplace, Legal, Finance and IT.
• Define Plaid’s internal comms operating model, channels, cadence, and editorial calendar.
• Develop and tell Plaid’s internal AI narrative and change communications.
• Support events like All Hands and other company-wide programs.
