Job summary
Benco Dental, the largest privately owned, full-service dental distributor in the United States, seeks a Communications Intern for Spring 2027 in Pittston, PA. The intern will support internal communications and digital media, write stories, help with proofreading, and assist with social media content.
The ideal candidate is an undergraduate or graduate student in Communications/Marketing, with strong writing and detail orientation, able to work onsite 15 hours per week. Local candidates only.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a Communications/Marketing undergraduate or graduate program.
- Ability to work 15 hours per week onsite in Pittston, PA.
- Must be local to Pittston area and able to work onsite.
Responsibilities
- Research and write stories for the weekly company newsletter.
- Interview associates and gather information for internal communications.
- Assist with proofreading, editing, and formatting communications.
- Write and edit social media captions and digital content.
- Maintain social media content calendars and schedules.
- Monitor social media trends and engagement metrics.
- Capture photos/videos at company events and meetings.
- Support communications, marketing, and special projects as needed.
