Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an experienced communications professional to support and execute internal communications across medical centers and system-wide initiatives. You will craft content for leaders, newsletters, and intranet, while shaping multi-channel strategies that engage about 20,000 team members.

The role requires collaboration with marketing and public relations, strong storytelling, and the ability to travel between Atlantic Health facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or related field.
• 5+ years in internal communications or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record developing multi-channel communications with senior leaders.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Experience with Viva Engage and LinkedIn.
• Willingness to travel between Atlantic Health facilities.

Requirements

• 5 years (minimum) of work experience developing and implementing effective communication plans and strategies, working with senior leaders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel communications
• Proven track record of working with all levels of team members, from the front line to the C-suite
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; fast learner with problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Ability to work confidently on multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Passion for communications, creative storytelling and brand awareness
• Keen understanding of the current communications landscape; tech and social media savvy
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field
• 5 plus years of experience in internal communications, or related field
• Excellent project management skills
• Expert presentation skills and professional presence
• Experience in copywriting and editing
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop preferred
• Proficiency with internal and external social media platforms such as Viva Engage and LinkedIn
• Ability to work onsite and travel regularly between Atlantic Health facilities
• Ability to sit, speak and operate telephone, computer and other devices for long periods of time
