Job summary

Ignite Digital is seeking an Internal Auditor to support federal government projects in the National Capital Region. This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication. On-site with potential for hybrid work depending on program needs.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in internal audit, SOC-1/2 testing experience, and an Active Secret clearance. Preferred CIA/CPA. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of internal audit experience.
• Experience with internal control testing and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments for financial reporting and systems.
• Test design and effectiveness of internal controls (SOC-1/2) per A-123.
• Document testing results and report findings to management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and monitor remediation.
