Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, or a related assurance function.
• Experience conducting operational, financial, or technology-related audits, including risk assessments, control testing, and audit documentation.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk-based auditing, and audit methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple audit assignments, independently execute testing, and communicate findings to business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and execution of risk-based internal audits across corporate functions, including financial, operational, compliance, and technology-related processes.
• Conduct walkthroughs, identify key risks and controls, and develop audit testing procedures to evaluate control effectiveness.
• Independently execute business process and technology control testing across multiple audit engagements.
• Identify control deficiencies and process improvement opportunities, working with stakeholders to develop appropriate recommendations and remediation plans.
• Support audit engagements throughout the full audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork through reporting and issue follow-up.
• Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to support audit testing, identify trends, and assess potential risks.
• Build relationships with business stakeholders and communicate audit observations, findings, and recommendations effectively.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and review support to less experienced audit team members.

Ideal Background

• 4-6 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, or a related assurance function.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Experience conducting operational, financial, or technology-related audits, including risk assessments, control testing, and audit documentation.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk-based auditing, and audit methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple audit assignments, independently execute testing, and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, or a complex corporate environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with data analytics or visualization tools is advantageous.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or other relevant professional certifications, or progress toward certification, are preferred.
