Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA is hiring an Internal Audit Lead to strengthen our control environment and ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards. You will spearhead SOX testing and internal control design across global operations.

You’ll report to the Director of Technical Accounting, External Reporting, and Internal Compliance and work with the CFO and Corporate Controller to elevate governance and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years accounting experience with at least 2 years SEC internal control reporting.
• Strong COSO framework knowledge and risk management.
• Hands-on with Workiva or AuditBoard preferred.
• Proficient in NetSuite, Excel, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal control audit activities and annual plan.
• Maintain SOX 404 documentation and control matrices.
• Evolve internal audit methodology and governance.
• Implement internal control platform to improve reporting.
• Coordinate audits and support external auditors.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Partner with process owners to strengthen controls.
• Report results to the Audit Committee.
