Job summary

Spire, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic student or recent graduate for a paid summer internship across our operations. You will rotate through accounting and finance assignments, supporting audits, SOX, and compliance work while developing core audit skills.

The role emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and a proactive approach, with hybrid work expectations (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and opportunities to travel to different locations.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate rising junior, senior or graduate level student.
• Must be able to work 35-40 hours per week throughout the summer internship.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Must participate in All Inclusive Onboarding and Project Poster Symposium

Responsibilities

• Rotate between accounting and finance assignments, possibly including audits.
• Assist with internal audits and special projects under the Audit Manager.
• Document work following standards and maintain quality and accuracy.
• Develop reports and communicate findings to clients and team members.
• Travel to various business locations as needed.
