Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC International invites applications for its Internal Audit Intern program in Houston, Texas. The internship runs summer 2027 from mid to end of May through early August, with a hybrid schedule and four days in office.

Under supervision, you will learn from the Internal Audit and Internal Controls teams, supporting project work, inquiries, and content updates, while gaining exposure to data analysis and management meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 60 completed hours from an accredited college or university.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Role Overview

Under immediate supervision, learns, shadows, and provides support to the Internal Audit and Internal Controls teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries.
• Perform assigned project work.
• Organize team administrative activities.
• May be responsible for approving/ordering supplies, licenses, etc.
• May be responsible for drafting and/or distributing monthly articles to employees, field representatives, and updating/posting to the business unit/department website.
• May revise or create content SharePoint site(s).
• May analyze data and create informational presentations for management meetings.
• Participate in the Internship Enrichment Program.

Requirements

• Minimum 60 completed hours from an accredited college or university.
• Grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
• No experience required!
• Possess and have ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
