U.S. Bank offers a 10-week paid Internal Audit Internship designed to provide exposure to the audit process, risk assessment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will support the CAS with planning, testing, and documentation while engaging with senior auditors and leaders. Ideal candidates are pursuing business-related degrees with strong communication skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and a drive to learn in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a target graduation date Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Ability to start internship on June 7, 2027.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to think and work independently with a professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with data management and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience by performing critical elements of the audit process, including assisting the audit project lead in planning audit engagements, identifying key risks and controls, and documenting work performed.
• Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to evaluate, test, and conclude on the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls.
• Develop risk and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives.
• Learn from and apply coaching received.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
