Job summary

U.S. Venture, Inc. in Appleton, WI, seeks an Internal Audit Intern for Summer 2027 to assist in testing internal controls and documenting findings. You will help update process narratives, flows, and identify risks, while collaborating on audit, accounting, or finance projects in a corporate setting.

The program runs May–August 2027, with involvement in Deloitte year-end procedures and support across the corporate division. Strong teamwork and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Access, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Experience with Internal Audits and/or Internal Controls a plus.
• Strong relationship building skills and comfort working with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing internal controls and document findings.
• Assist in updating and/or preparation of process narratives and/or process flows; identify risks and controls.
• Work in a team environment on various audit, accounting or finance projects and tasks.
• Perform testing of Compliance Committee areas of focus to determine adequacy and timeliness of action steps.
• Assist with annual fiscal year-end Deloitte audit procedures.
