Job summary

Coeur Mining in Chicago seeks a Lead Internal Audit, Automation and Analytics Lead to modernize the Internal Audit function by developing sustainable audit analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and automated testing routines within SOX and operational audits.

You will collaborate with IT, Finance, Risk Management and process owners to implement data-driven controls, oversee governance of automation, and mentor the IA team on analytics and Tableau dashboards while advancing responsible AI use.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of progressive internal audit experience; SOX and IT audit exposure.
• Strong knowledge of SOX/ICFR, COSO principles, and risk-based methodologies.
• Experience with data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled audit practices.
• Experience with Oracle ERP data modules such as GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Inventory, FA, HR/Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-enabled and automation-driven audit solutions for efficiency and consistency.
• Design automated SOX control testing across financial reporting processes.
• Support operational risk-based audits through data analytics and continuous monitoring.
• Integrate analytics outputs into AuditBoard workflows and reporting.
• Build reusable library of audit analytics, scripts, and dashboards.
