Job summary

Retell AI in Redwood City, CA, is seeking an Internal Deployed Engineer to build AI systems and automations that power recruiting, sales, finance, operations, and customer support across the company. You will design and deploy production-grade AI workflows, internal tools, and agent systems that improve efficiency and enable ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or closely related field.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (backend, full-stack, or systems).
• Demonstrated engineering ability through internships, startup experience, research, or meaningful side projects.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or modern AI tooling is a strong plus.
• Ability to own initiatives from day one and ship impactful tools.

Responsibilities

• Build AI systems and automations powering internal operations across recruiting, sales, finance, and support.
• Design and deploy production-grade AI workflows and internal tools.
• Automate enterprise-scale security, compliance, and operational processes.
• Integrate internal systems with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel).
• Develop lifecycle automation for customer engagement and onboarding at scale.
