Job summary

TC Energy invites engineering or construction students to join as a Student Intern from May 2027 through August 2027, supporting construction and engineering projects with site observation, cost estimating and project documentation. The program offers hands-on exposure to active construction environments, planning, contractor coordination, safety and quality processes, and engineering execution.

You will work with engineers and planners, gaining practical experience, assisting with takeoffs,

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited Engineering or Construction-related degree program.
  • Returning to full-time studies immediately after the work term.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with construction site visits, observations and inspections to support project execution.
  • Support project requirement assessments, progress monitoring and safety and quality control activities.
  • Collaborate with planners, project coordinators and engineers on ongoing projects.
  • Prepare progress reports, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
  • Conduct research on construction methods, materials and industry practices.
