Job summary

North Atlantic Industries is seeking an Intern – Test Engineer for Summer 2027 in Bohemia, NY. You will support testing, integration, and troubleshooting of NAI electronic products and systems, gaining hands-on experience with circuit analysis, test equipment, programming, and production-support activities.

The role requires pursuing an Electrical or Computer Engineering degree, knowledge of circuits and programming (C/C++/C#), and familiarity with oscilloscopes and multimeters. U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursue degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of electronic circuits, component data sheets, and specifications.
• Demonstrate familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, or C#.
• Demonstrate proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies.
• Candidates must be a U.S. Person (citizen or Green Card holder) with documentation at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and improving test programs used to verify functional operation of NAI products.
• Test and debug products at the component and system level using circuit-analysis techniques.
• Implement test procedures and operate industry-standard electronic test equipment.
• Collaborate with Production personnel to diagnose and support repair of failed items.
• Document test results and communicate findings to Engineering.
• Support continuous improvement of testing methods, processes, and product reliability.

Internship salary is based on position and academic year standing.

Salary Description

$17.50-$27.00 per hour
