Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Talent Acquisition Strategy Intern to join our team in Durham, NC, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule! You will support the activation of Labcorp's Employee Value Proposition across priority recruitment channels, develop employer brand content, and review trends to strengthen talent attraction.

The internship runs 11 weeks, with paid compensation and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Must be able to participate in the full 11-week internship program from June 1, 2027 through August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Support activation of Labcorp's Employee Value Proposition across priority recruitment channels.
  • Develop employee stories, testimonials, and reusable employer brand content.
  • Review external trends and peer practices to strengthen talent attraction and digital reach.
  • Audit and update recruiter job aids, process documentation, screenshots, and SharePoint resources.
  • Convert training recordings into concise, task-based learning content.
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition data analysis, KPI reporting, and data gap identification.
  • Map Talent Acquisition workflows and research measurement approaches for quality of hire.
  • Support administrative activity in Fieldglass and SharePoint coordination.
  • Participate in Global Expansion activities for Contingent Workforce and related reporting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the activation of Labcorp's Employee Value Proposition across priority recruitment channels.

  • Audit and update recruiter job aids, process documentation, screenshots, and SharePoint resources.
  • Convert existing training recordings into concise, task-based learning content.
  • Support Talent Acquisition data analysis, KPI reporting, and the identification of data gaps.
  • Assist with mapping Talent Acquisition workflows and researching practical approaches to measuring quality of hire.
  • Support administrative activity - Activation of contingent profiles in Fieldglass; troubleshoot error logs: Manage WD Inbox: Oversee GTA Sharepoint site.
  • Participate in Global Expansion Activities for Contingent Workforce, including but not limited to reporting, weekly calls, ad hoc requests.
  • Prepare and present project outcomes, recommendations, and next steps to Talent Acquisition and HR leaders.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or graduate degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Must be able to participate in the full 11-week internship program from June 1, 2027 through August 13, 2027.

About the Team

The Talent Acquisition Strategic Initiatives team leads programs that strengthen how Labcorp attracts talent, equips recruiters, and improves the candidate and hiring experience. The team partners across Talent Acquisition, HR, and the business to activate Labcorp's Employee Value Proposition, enhance recruiter tools and learning resources, improve data and reporting, and drive greater consistency across Talent Acquisition processes. As part of the team, the intern will complete an anchor project focused on Employee Value Proposition activation while also contributing to a defined portfolio of Talent Acquisition operations assignments. The internship is designed to produce practical, reusable deliverables and provide exposure to employer branding, recruitment marketing, process improvement, learning content, data, and executive-level communications.

In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp's global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise‑wide learning experiences that introduce you to key business functions across Labcorp, leadership exposure and visibility, including direct interaction with senior leaders, an immersive, in‑person intern event June 8-10, 2027 designed to connect you with peers and deepen your understanding of our mission, senior leader speaker sessions offering insights into strategy, innovation, and career growth, continuous opportunities to connect and grow, from intern cohort communication channels and LinkedIn Learning resources to professional development sessions and storytelling opportunities that highlight your internship journey, connection to Labcorp’s inclusive culture through engagement with our employee resource groups (ERGs) and values‑driven community initiatives, dedicated mentoring connections to guide your growth, provide career advice, and support your internship journey.

Internship Details
  • Duration: 11 weeks, full-time
  • Dates of Internship: June 1, 2027 - August 13, 2027
  • Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
  • Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
