Elliquence is seeking a motivated intern to join the Inventory Control team in Baldwin, NY. This on-site, part-time internship (24 hours/week) runs Aug/Sep 2026 through December 2026, with potential to move to full-time depending on performance and availability.

  • Assist with maintaining inventory records and product traceability through proper documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports and supply chain documentation.
  • Coordinate between Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, Sales and Customer Service to ensure timely execution of activities.
  • Assist with purchase order administration and supplier documentation.
  • Collect and analyze inventory data to identify trends and support replenishment decisions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Take on increasing responsibility in inventory planning as knowledge grows.

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Inventory Control team. This internship is part time role, 24 hours/week and will begin between August 2026 / September 2026 and continue through end of December 2026. This position offers the opportunity to transition to full-time hours during non-school months, with the potential to become a full-time employee based on the individual’s performance and position availability. This role is on-site in Baldwin, NY.


Responsibilities


  • Support daily inventory operations, including inventory transactions, stock transfers, receiving activities, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy within the ERP system.

  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting product traceability through proper system documentation.

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain operational reports and supply chain documentation to support day-to-day business activities.

  • Assist with internal coordination between Inventory, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely execution of operational activities.

  • Support purchase order administration by maintaining procurement records, monitoring order status, and assisting with supplier documentation.

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing inventory and operational data to identify trends, support replenishment decisions, and improve inventory visibility.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management, procurement processes, and operational efficiency.

  • Take on increasing responsibility in inventory planning and procurement support as knowledge of products, systems, and business operations develops.


Qualifications


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • Logical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends.

  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Comfortable learning new software systems and working with large datasets.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different departments.

  • Self-motivated, confident and eager to learn in a fast-paced operational environment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous internship or project experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory management, or operations preferred.

  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

  • Exposure to inventory planning, demand forecasting, procurement, supplier management, or data analysis through coursework, projects, or internships is preferred.

  • Interest in developing a career in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations.


Salary range is $17.00/hour USD
