Job summary

RENK America, based in Muskegon, Michigan, seeks a Sourcing Supply Chain Intern to support procurement and sourcing across divisions. You will assist with quoting activities and lead continuous improvement to enhance processes, automation, and cross-functional efficiency.

Gain hands-on experience shadowing procurement staff in buying, planning, and inventory control while refining commodity sourcing strategies. Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills and a 3.0+ GPA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an acredited Supply Chain or Procurement program with a Jr. or Sr. standing with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
• Strong in Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Ability to qualify for a security clearance which typically means U.S. Citizenship and a clean background
• Ability to move freely in a manufacturing setting

The Sourcing Supply Chain Intern will support key procurement and sourcing functions across multiple divisions. Responsibilities include assisting with quoting activities and leading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, automation, and cross-functional efficiency. The intern will help refine and document commodity sourcing strategies and gain hands-on experience by shadowing procurement personnel in buying, planning, and inventory control.
