Job summary

RENK America is seeking a Sourcing Supply Chain Intern to support procurement across divisions, assist with quoting activities, and lead initiatives to improve processes, automation, and cross-functional efficiency.

You will shadow procurement personnel in buying, planning and inventory control while developing Excel macros and Access databases to support sourcing decisions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Supply Chain or Procurement program with a Jr. or Sr. standing and a 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Strong in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to qualify for a US security clearance (Citizenship and clean background).

Job Description:

The Sourcing Supply Chain Intern will support key procurement and sourcing functions across multiple divisions. Responsibilities include assisting with quoting activities and leading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, automation, and cross-functional efficiency. The intern will help refine and document commodity sourcing strategies and gain hands-on experience by shadowing procurement personnel in buying, planning, and inventory control.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to develop Excel macros and Access databases
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain Management
• Understanding of continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an acredited Supply Chain or Procurement program with a Jr. or Sr. standing with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
• Strong in Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• Ability to qualify for a security clearance which typically means U.S. Citizenship and a clean background
• Ability to move freely in a manufacturing setting
