Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking an intern to gain hands-on experience in a logistics-related department. The position is domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Harrison, AR or Memphis, TN, with a starting rate of $25.00/hour for Bachelor’s degree track and $30.00/hour for Graduate track.

A relocation allowance of up to $2,000 may be offered after start, subject to documentation requirements. The role involves training with management and staff, performing assigned tasks, and contributing to projects

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a junior level or higher (or graduated within last 12 months) at an accredited college/university.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• May require coursework related to the assigned functional department.

This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Harrison, AR or Memphis, TN.
Individuals who relocate 50 or more miles for this position may qualify for a $2,000 relocation allowance following the start of the internship, subject to satisfying documentation requirements.
Position Overview
Train with department management, professional and support staff in order to gain work experience. Gain a working knowledge of applications and tools related to assigned functional area; perform assigned tasks and project work with supervision; specific duties/tasks determined by department management. Assignments are directly related to Intern’s field of study.

Qualifications

• A Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Depending on the functional area supported, additional knowledge, skills, abilities and experience may be required
• May require completion of courses related to specific functional department assigned
• Must be reliable and exhibit follow-through
• Must be adept in completing assignments and solving problems
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Good written and verbal communication skills
