Job summary

FedEx Freight invites motivated interns to gain real-world experience at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will train with department management and staff while learning applications and tools related to your field of study.

Qualifications include enrolled junior or above, or recent graduate within 12 months, with a GPA of 3.0+, and coursework in business, accounting, finance, statistics, or related fields. Relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.

Job description

Starting Rate of Pay: Bachelor's: $25.00/hour, Graduate: $30.00/hour

This position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.

Individuals who relocate 50 or more miles for this position may qualify for a $2,000 relocation allowance following the start of the internship, subject to satisfying documentation requirements.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Train with department management, professional and support staff in order to gain work experience. Gain a working knowledge of applications and tools related to assigned functional area; perform assigned tasks and project work with supervision; specific duties/tasks determined by department management. Assignments are directly related to Intern’s field of study.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be enrolled at a Junior level or above (or have graduated within the last 12 months) at an accredited college or university
• Major or course of study toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or other quantitative discipline
• A Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Depending on the functional area supported, additional knowledge, skills, abilities and experience may be required
• May require completion of courses related to specific functional department assigned
• Must be reliable and exhibit follow-through
• Must be adept in completing assignments and solving problems
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook
