JOB SUMMARY A Research Intern in Translational Science bridges basic research with clinical practice by assisting with projects such as biomarker discovery, helping craft and execute clinical protocols with clinical team members, evaluating drug targets and their drug ability, and applying computational and statistical methods on biological and clinical data to develop new treatments and diagnostics. The intern will support a Principal Investigator or Senior Researcher at the HonorHealth Research Institute Center for Translational Science by assisting with laboratory experiments, analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, preparing study documentation, and assisting in manuscript preparation. The Research Intern will ultimately develop skills and insights to help them move to a clinical research position when appropriate.
