Job summary

Kroll's Global Expert Services Team in Boston is offering a hands-on real estate advisory internship designed for motivated students. You will contribute to market analysis, data gathering, and model building on live engagements under supervision.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a related degree with a strong GPA, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a collaborative environment. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • GPA 3.0 minimum.
  • Graduation between December 2027 and July 2028.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth industry, market and competitor research.
  • Analyze local, national and international real estate markets.
  • Build financial models using Argus and Excel for valuation methods.
  • Collect data through client interactions with brokers and property managers.
  • Present analysis results clearly and concisely.
  • Review industry surveys and demographic trends.

Job description

Join Kroll's Global Expert Services Team and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Real Estate consulting. We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to contribute as new joiners in our Real Estate Advisory Group.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth industry, market and competitor research
  • Perform local, national and international real estate market analysis on a wide range of public and private entities and REITs using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory
  • Using Argus and Excel, design financial models for discounted cash flow analysis, market approach and cost approach valuation methods
  • Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, including personal & telephone Interviews with brokers and property managers
  • Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Management (with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate), Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or Real Estate), Economics (with a concentration in Finance or Real Estate) from an accredited college or university
  • Major GPA of 3.0
  • Graduation Date between December 2027 and July 2028
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to manage time and workflow
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
  • Commitment to focusing on quality
