Job summary

RTX, the world leader in aerospace and defense, invites students and early career professionals to join its internship and co-op programs at East Hartford, CT. You will work onsite on metallurgical testing, materials analysis, and quality-oriented projects within Pratt & Whitney.

Candidates must pursue a Bachelors or advanced degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, and maintain a strong GPA.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship
• Minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
• Major or minor in Metallurgy, or Materials Science is preferred

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
