Your mission Join Bitpanda’s Quality Engineering team as an intern and help ensure the stability, performance, and security of our products. You’ll work hands-on with experienced QA and Software Engineers to help us test cutting-edge financial services used by millions across Europe. This is your chance to learn best practices, gain real-world experience, and contribute to a rapidly growing fintech scale-up.

What you’ll do

Assist in the design and execution of test plans and test cases for backend applications. Help identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Jira and contribute to issue resolution. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers during the sprint cycle to ensure quality is embedded early. Using tools like Postman and manual testing to execute regression, smoke, and exploratory testing cycles before releases. Help maintain test documentation and ensure that product requirements are met.

Who you are

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Curious about software testing and passionate about product quality. Some familiarity with QA tools or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, SQL, Postman, Cypress) is a plus, but not required. Detail-oriented, with a structured mindset and a desire to learn how complex systems work. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
