Job summary

Bitpanda is offering an internship opportunity to help optimize our internal back‑office application that interfaces with every product we build. You’ll contribute to high‑quality features, connect frontend experiences with backend logic, and gain hands‑on experience in a leading fintech environment.

You will learn engineering best practices, work with mentors, and grow within a fast‑paced, agile team while contributing to internal tools and systems across the stack.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks, ideally Vue.js.
• Conceptual understanding or basic coding experience in Java and/or PHP.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop Full‑Stack Solutions: end‑to‑end development of internal tools (client‑side and server‑side).
• Build Responsive UIs: use Vue.js to create intuitive interfaces.
• Support Backend Logic: work with Java and PHP to maintain server‑side apps, build APIs, and integrate databases.
• Maintain Code Quality: write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews.

Your mission

You’ll help optimise our internal back‑office application, that interfaces with every single product that we build, by delivering high‑quality features for internal stakeholders. You’ll work across the stack, connecting frontend user experience with backend logic, to turn business needs into reliable, maintainable functionality. With support from experienced mentors, you’ll contribute to improving team efficiency and operational performance while gaining hands‑on experience and learning engineering best practices in a leading fintech company.

What you’ll do

Who you are

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• You are highly motivated, incredibly curious, and possess a strong desire to learn new technologies quickly.
• Conceptual understanding or basic coding experience in Java and/or PHP.
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks, ideally Vue.js (or a strong willingness to learn it fast).
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, agile environment and can collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with non‑technical internal users.
