Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine is seeking a Purchasing Intern at our Marinette, WI location. The role supports the Purchasing team with procurement tasks, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Domestic travel may be required and collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance is expected to drive cost savings and supplier activities. The intern will assist with reviewing purchasing data, developing presentations, and reporting on opportunities for efficiency and cost

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing purchasing data, identifying trends, and reporting areas of concern or opportunities for cost savings
• Support purchasing process improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and development of presentations
• Interact with various departments of the organization, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Finance, and Supply Chain, to support purchasing activities and achieve company objectives
• Other duties may be assigned

Position Summary

The Purchasing Intern is responsible for assisting the Purchasing team with various procurement, data analysis, and process improvement activities. The Purchasing Intern supports procurement initiatives, cost savings opportunities, supplier activities, and purchasing-related reporting.

Domestic travel may be required.
