Responsibilities

  • Support project planning activities by maintaining schedules, tracking milestones, and documenting project deliverables.
  • Coordinate meetings, status updates, and communications to ensure alignment among project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and action items, escalating concerns when appropriate.
  • Assist with project reporting, data analysis, and preparation of presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance artifacts, and records to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful delivery of project objectives and business outcomes.
  • Track project budgets, resource allocations, and timelines to help identify potential variances.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.
  • Support change management and implementation activities to facilitate adoption of new processes or solutions.
  • Build knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices while contributing to team goals.

As a 2027 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on May 31, 2027 and conclude on August 6, 2027.

About the team:

You’ll join a collaborative project management team responsible for delivering strategic business and technology initiatives that help clients achieve their goals. The team works across multiple functions, partnering with business stakeholders, product teams, operations, and technology groups to plan, coordinate, and execute projects. You will build foundational project management skills while supporting project delivery, stakeholder communication, and operational excellence.

What you bring:
