Job summary

Park National Bank is seeking an Intern - Project Management to support project teams across the bank. You will learn about department operations, processes, and performance standards while assisting with scheduling, meeting setup, and documentation.

The role offers a full remote arrangement with onboarding and occasional on-site collaboration in Newark, OH. You will gain exposure to project management methodologies and contribute to post-project reviews and performance feedback.

Qualifications

Description

• Takes initiative to learn about Park brand, culture, and history.
• Develops an understanding of department operations, processes, procedures, and performance standards.
• Contributes to projects and daily work in assigned banking department.
• Presents project results to appropriate audience as requested.
• Networks with other associates, leaders, and executives across the bank to develop strong relationships.
• Completes required trainings in a timely manner and seeks out additional learning and development opportunities.
• Participates in end of term performance reviews and provides detailed feedback on their experience, including suggestions for improvement.
• Assist with scheduling, meeting set-up or preparation, and/or event coordination as needed.
• Assist with post-meeting debriefs, including documentation, meeting minutes, and follow up communication.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, including managing tasks and due dates, recording issues and pain points, and tracking post-project success metrics.
• Become familiar with project management methodologies and leverage theses learning within project support.
• Assist with internal PMO process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts,
  expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.
• Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Service Excellence standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relative area of study at a college or university.

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00. Occasional weekends as needed for project implementation support.
*Full remote position - candidate will be required to be on-site in Newark, OH for onboarding, training, or as needed for project activities.*
